1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the House Rules application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
The App is operated by Mostest More Pty Ltd (ACN / ABN 12 688 336 254), a company incorporated in Queensland, Australia (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Child profiles within the App may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian who has accepted these Terms. By creating a child profile, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and consent to the use of the App on their behalf.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@mostestmore.net of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Harass, abuse, or harm any person.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its related systems.
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the App without express written permission.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Mostest More Pty Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (e.g. custom chores, family names, avatar choices). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mostest More Pty Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or AUD $10 if you have not made any payments).
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@mostestmore.net.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
